● A full audit was conducted to identify any potential errors, and a technical task was created to fix them;
● A complete, in-depth niche analysis was conducted across various geos, with a priority geo – US – and several additional ones identified;
● A geo-structure was developed with proper interlinking, sitemaps, TDH, etc.;
● A content plan for the blog and glossary was created, and technical tasks for writing texts were prepared;
● Proper integration with the old website was carried out;
● Duplicate sections were merged.

Growth Drivers:

One of the key aspects of the promotion was the proper integration with the old website. The integration was done page by page, with new pages being created. As a result, we not only regained the positions that the old site had previously ranked for, but also successfully improved them through a broader structure of the promoted website and high-quality content.
Additionally, a crucial decision was to meticulously work on the geo-structure and interlinking between language versions. At this point, each geo ranks the exact URL we had planned.

Challenges

The main challenge was the initial misunderstanding of where our main focus should be – which region, queries, etc. However, at the beginning, we were on the same page with the client, so we were able to spend a lot of time on tasks such as collecting semantics, analyzing competitors, analyzing geo-dependency of queries, etc. These tasks don't provide immediate results, but in the long run, they always pay off, which is exactly what happened in our case.

6-Month Results

A significant increase in traffic, with growth in key queries for our main geo. At the start of the work, the site hardly ranked for queries from the US, but now it has more key queries indexed in the US than in any other country.
