Goals:

● Increase SEO traffic to the website;
● Increase the number of conversions in the sale of Steam accounts.

Key Actions:

We began by conduct a niche audit. We looked at which landing pages were driving traffic and identified what needed to be done to compete in the niche. To achieve this, we gathered as much semantic data as possible and started shaping the website structure.
Regarding semantics, this presented a particular challenge. The keywords in the niche are quite challenging. Most of them have a difficulty score of over 60 on Ahrefs

Website structure development

The second thing we did was develop the website structure. We outlined the types of landing pages, created technical tasks for them, and wrote the texts. The main traffic page is the homepage, as it ranks for the primary queries: steam id, steamid, steam hex, steamhex. We created blog pages and worked on profile pages, like https://steamid.pro/lookup/76561197960287930. We also refined the top pages:

Translation into other languages

The third thing we did was translate the website into Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, Italian, Turkish, Indonesian, Polish, Romanian, and Russian.
For the translation, we used the DeepL service.

Link building

For the initial link building, like for any new resource, we decided to build it using a gradual strategy to minimize the risk of penalties from search engines. To achieve this, we used the services of our internal link building department.

Results

Within 14 months, the website ranked in the U.S. Top 10 across the full semantic core.In the last month, the site gathered 161K in traffic.
